World peace is essential for continued well being and prosperity of all world citizens. It is important that students in universities and colleges of all disciplines learn about practices of Gandhian nonviolence that other world leaders have utilized in many countries, including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the USA. Following the success of such methods, students and others can learn and be involved in peace making efforts in all disciplines, including engineering , business, and the humanities and social sciences. Especially the future leaders of tomorrow should be well versed in these peace making methods. |
